Oh the great state of Texas. There is something not right about a state that takes a whole day! Anyways, we stayed the night in Beaumont last night which means we are almost to LA. 1200 miles! Ugh!
Today will be a great day as we head through New Orleans and Mobile. Planning to stop at a few great places we heard of which will make today much more enjoyable.
San Antonio was the first nice city we came to and very green. We stopped for dinner at Chipotle and let the girls play ball and run around. From there we pushed through to Houston while they slept.
Houston is huge! Everything really is bigger in TX. That city was bright and vibrant at night which livened up the drive. We stopped at a gas station at about 11:30pm and we must have been in the "hood." We didn't stay long as we stood out like a fart in church.
