Southeast: NOLA TO Gulf Breeze

Yesterday was a total blast!  We started the day with lunch in New Orleans French Quarter. A colleague had recommended Surreys Cafe and Juice Bar.
I had Banana Foster French Toast that was out of this world!  Topped with fresh juice I was in sugar heaven.

We drove down Bourbon street and enjoyed the people watching.  It is a totally different world down there.
After a nap through Mobile (Matt called me the Napping Navigator) we continued on to Pensacola.  We found a hotel room just south of Pensacola on the Fairpoint Peninsula community of Gulf Breeze.  For those who have no idea where that is like we did here is a bit more detail.
It was beautiful! A quick bridge ride over the water and 15 min from the 1-10.  It was a great way to end the day and start our FL adventure.
A Pelican as we were driving into Gulf Breeze.
View from the pool area.
Swimming in the kiddy pool last night.
Playing in the sand before we left this morning.
377 miles to go and we are there!
