Winter

So our first Midwest winter has arrived! And baby it's cold outside! My car said it was 18 as I left the BMV. However, when safely inside it is so very beautiful outside. The favorite part of my evening is lighting the Warm Glow candle on my fireplace (best candle store ever), lighting the fireplace and doing puzzles and letters with AJ by the warm fire. Aj loves it too.
I practically have to drag her inside. She likes the crunch sound snow makes under her boots. It's been fun buying winter clothes, hats, boots etc. Oh the boots! Love my Uggs! Santa was good to me this year! Love you baby! Kids winter clothes are the cutest too!
I've also taken up knitting. I can't tell you how many hats and scarves I made. Wish I had time to make more. Goal is to finish what I have started this weekend.
We live on a dead end street so I'm fairly certain it will be a gamble if we get plowed or not every snow. Good thing we bought that shovel eh?

So in other winter excitement we got rum! Not just any rum...Tortuga! Yes it has been procured and it was a happy day! Very thankful for friends who are friends of liquor store owners!
It brought a little sunshine to the winter chill.
Very excited for our band, the Neon Heartaches! Doing so very well and very talented crew. They are like my second family. Goal to get out gigin next month! Get excited!
